Research On The Ancient Villages’ Cultural Landscape From The Theory Of Space Production

The article describes the developing process of the cultural landscape history of ancient villages in Wuyuan basing on the theory of the role of the production of space and tries to unscramble the factors which cause Wuyuan Ancient Villages’ Cultural Landscape Change, tries to combine the development status of Wuyuan with Lefebvre Construction of Trinity theoretical framework (the ternary dialectics) to carry out the research of landscape evolution of Wuyuan ancient villages’ cultural landscape (re) production-oriented to a spatial narrative. Starting with the space variation from different periods, the distribution of ancient village in Wuyuan from Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty, is the very beginning of business group’s development in Wuyuan. This paper introduces the space variation under different social culture influences since Republic of China, analyses the cultural landscape’s conversion process under the background of the time variation, taking time(the development process)as the main line, to explore the relationship of spatial structure behind the historical development, the space Change process and meaning of the presentation significance of the place.With deeper exploration of the ancient village in Wuyuan, the survey found that this traditional village had been developing into a tourism Ancient Village during the evolving process. Tourism industry brings Wuyuan Town a new mode of production and production relations, which is a result of new cultural landscape under the space production. After discussion of history humanities, industrial restructuring, spatial form evolution of Wuyuan ancient village, the main reason which leads to Ancient Village’s Cultural Landscape change is the production of space.At the end of the article(paper/thesis),the space production of Wuyuan village is summarized from seven aspects in order to show the spatial expansion, reconstruction, the results that all those changes lead to. It also makes several proposals to the ancient village spatial planning which based on space production, to put forward the constructive suggestions for making rational use of space, creating culture landscapes with their own characteristics, to enrich the research perspectives and research field of domestic ancient villages; to promote the localization space production theoretical study of space Wuyuan.
