China’s blue-water navy today is on an important stage of fast development, and large surface and underwater combat ships are being prepared and in their early service, which demands the enrichment of the auxiliary facilities all around including the degaussing system for the ships. With the large military ships’employment, the power of the degaussing system is becoming bigger and the need for the degaussig power supply capacity is increasing as well. This research proposes that using the pulse discharge current generated by the supercapacitor energy and power station collectively, together with the intermittent characteristics of the pulse discharge, the system’s requirement for the power station can be lowered.Firstly, the overall plan for the power constituted by the storage degaussing modules is designed in detail, and the topology of the degaussing power’s pre-amplifier charging controller and post-amplifier current converter is analyzed and chosen. After the power analysis and calculation for the degaussing current pulse, the relationships between the supercapacitor modules’capacity and the power demand under four different circumstances are established.Secondly, in allusion to the specific power station’s power supply, the capacitance modules’ grouping scheme and the pulse current’s discharging scheme adopted by the post-amplifier converter are designed, using voltage dropping pattern and increasing pattern respectively. In those different patterns mentioned above, the parallel circuits employed internally by the post-amplifier converter, along with the pre-amplifier charging device’s plan, is determined. Furthermore, the post-amplifier converter’s filter inductance and capacitance are designed according to the factors which meet the output pulse current indicators’requirement.Thirdly, the average state space models for single-channel Buck, single-channel Buck-Boost, multi-channel interleaving parallel Buck, and Buck-Boost circuits are established separately. The current sharing plan is designed based on the highest current sharing technique of three-loop control, taking the voltage dropping scheme adopted by the post-amplifier converter as example.Finally, the simulation model for the parallel current sharing plan of the post-amplifier converter is made, simulated and analyzed in MATLAB/Simulink. And the accuracy, leading & trailing edge time, and overshoot for the parallel output pulse current coming from the post-amplifier converter are also analyzed. The sharing current’s validity is verified in the parallel operation both for the single-phase converter and multi-phase multiple converter, based on the highest current sharing technique of three-loop control.
