Now, traffic accidents have a serious impact on people’s travel. In order to decrease the impact of traffic accidents on the actual life of people, and to provide the theory basis of road construction and traffic accident treatment for traffic management, the influence of traffic accidents in the actual traffic capacity is studied and analyzed. Using the traffic accident video as data source,graphical representation of the video data was by using MATLAB. The numerical data of traffic volume in traffic accidents occurred before and after the traffic accident has not been eliminated and traffic accident elimination within a time interval of the parameters was added up by the table. After statistics and representation of road traffic volume, the traffic density of the vehicle parked in the driveway after a traffic accident is calculated and expressed. Next the road traffic volume and traffic density are discussed in theory. Not only the changes in a single video in the process of the two parameters were analyzed,but also the changes of the two parameters in two video were comparatively analyzed. Through the comparative analysis of results of traffic accidents on the inside lane and outside lane, it is known that their impact on road traffic capacity is unique and their analysis and verification of their significant difference were by usingsingle factor variance method. Traffic volume and traffic density were fitted by sine curve approximation, and two traffic flow parameters with time after traffic were said by mathematical model, and the mathematical model was tested. Meanwhile, road capacity derived mathematical model combined with the video data has been evaluated. Through analyzing the relationship between the total traffic volume and accident duration time, the changes in accidents at road capacity were analyzed. The result of analysis shows that traffic accidents have an important impact on road capacity. Finally, according to the cumulative arrival-departed mode, the queuing model was established, and it was tested combined with data. On the basis of traffic flow theory, the mathematical model was established by utilizing the method of data analysis over and again, and it guarantees the model effectiveness. The research results provide an essential reference for the measures taken to mitigate the impact of traffic accidents and the choice of people to avoid traffic accidents.
