Air Compressor Impeller Fatigue Performance Evaluation Testing Machine Development And Wind Field Coupling Analysis

Impeller is an important part of the air compressor, the performance of which has an directly effect on the performance and life of air compressor service. In this paper, a fatigue testing machine of the remanufacturing impeller performance evaluation is designed and manufactured based on the actual working condition of the impeller service within the air compressor, and finished the fatigue experiment analysis of the simulated specimens of the impeller. The main research content is as follows:According to service condition of the impeller blades in air compressor, clarify the fatigue damage theory of impeller blades, and put forward the functional design requirement and main technical indicators of the remanufacturing impeller performance evaluation tester. Based on the design requirements of the testing machine, determine the design plan, and check the strength of key parts.Established fluid-structure interaction model of impeller blades simulated specimen, and studied the stress and stain state and deformation of the specimen under various loading. Combined with impeller material S-N curve and fatigue damage theory, analyze the fatigue life and fatigue form of specimen under various loading.To tensile loading system of testing machine for modal analysis and harmonic analysis accordingly, and studied the natural frequency and the steady-state response under plus the response state. Finally, finished testing machine overall debugging work, and has carried on the experimental research on the fatigue performance of impeller, analyzed consistency of the test results and numerical simulation results.This testing machine could meet some functional requirements, such as, load a variety of loading precisely, long test cycle, high detection precision, and simulate the load condition in the process of impeller blades service. What’ more, this fatigue testing machine of the remanufacturing impeller performance evaluation fills a variety of load, complex structure specimen fatigue testing machine research blank and has a great significance on improving the impeller and the air compressor performance.
