The mileage of highway tunnel increase rapidly in our country, resulting in the high operation costs of a tunnel lighting system based on the maximum illumination design, energy saving become an important method to reduce the tunnel lighting energy waste. LED is a new light source, it has been widely used in tunnel lighting because it has many advantages such as high efficiency, long life, easy monitoring, etc. The intelligent control of LED lights has become a hot topic, In engineering practice, generally adopted timing-grading dimming control method to achieve the energy saving, this method divide circuit to control lamps logic switching according to the lighting plan of different periods, because it can not combine with real-time weather conditions and traffic conditions, excess illumination or insufficient illumination occurs sometime, it reduced the security of tunnel traffic.In order to achieve the intelligent control of tunnel lighting, with reference to the latest traffic lighting standards, LED driver conversion efficiency of half bridge LLC resonant converter has the advantages of low switching loss, high efficiency etc. So LLC resonant converter is been chosen as the main circuit of LED driver. This paper combines the technology of active power factor correction, according to the actual demand of engineering parameters, designs a 160 W LED street lamp drive power support PWM dimming.This paper gives an energy-saving control model based on exterior environment luminance, traffic volume and vehicle speed information for the tunnel lighting. Also it designs a modified circuit subdivision and stepless dimming control algorithm. According to predicted data of exterior environment luminance, traffic volume and vehicle speed, combined ternary parameters energy-saving control model of tunnel lighting to calculate the optimized tunnel lighting required luminance. The computed results show that: energy saving up to 50% based on circuit subdivision and stepless dimming control algorithm. Finish the design of lamps and use DAILux software simulation to see if the design meets tunnel lighting requirements.According to the design requirements, this paper designed an intelligent LED tunnel lightning control system based on Zigbee using CC2530 and PIC. This lighting control system ensures the safety and stability as well as saves the cost of tunnel lighting. It completed the application building of sensor module and coordinator module in OSAL layer based on Zstack protocol stack and ensured the stability of communications, complete the system requirement of the data sensing and processing then output specific duty ratio dimming PWM signal. Labview was adopted in the building of control center software interface with the functions of control management, monitoring management and so on. In order to ensure the feasibility of the system, this paper defines the data communication between host computer and terminal device.Finally, this paper set up a simulation experimental verification platform to test and verify the system stability and the normal operation of system. And the work of this paper was summarized and then had prospect for the development prospects.
