With constantly promote and development of the national energy conservation and environmental protection policy, the construction industry for the development of energy saving type thermal insulation material and research has made many breakthroughs. More than a lot of research institutes and universities in our country do not spare capacity to do research of energy-saving insulation in construction industry, the development of new building energy saving technology, the use of more efficient energy-saving building materials. Now the energy-efficient building palisade structure of the domestic and foreign used most is sandwich composite panels and other new building products.Sandwich panel because of its superior performance, more and more enterprises participate in the development and application. And in order to expand the use sandwich panel category, on the one hand, it can be used for building wall; on the other hand, for some the roof may need surface modelling, so curved sandwich panel will be research direction.This paper includes three aspects of content: performance analysis of sandwich wall panel under axial compression and bending loads, performance analysis of curved sandwich panels used in building roof panels,simulaton with ANSYS and compare with the obtained theoretical formula.Because of the increasing use of the building sandwich panels in the construction of the wall, and the domestic research on the sandwich panels is not much, especially the performance of the sandwich panels under compression-bending load. In order to use the sandwich wall panels safely and reasonably, it is necessary to do a thorough theoretical study. The theoretical formula of sandwich wall panel under the the combined action of axial compression and uniform load or concentrated load are derived and unified together with the deflection formula of sandwich roof panel, and do comparative analysis.The flat sandwich panel is extended to curved sandwich panel, the curved sandwich panels are not used in large scale in China, but due to the higher bearing capacity and beautiful surface modeling, it will be gradually developed and applied. In the domestic and international, the research on the curved sandwich panel used in the building is very little, and there is no reasonable theory to guide the production and use of curved sandwich panel. The curved sandwich panels are mainly used in the construction of building roof. In this paper, the performance analysis of curved sandwich panel under lateral load and vertical uniform load is analyzed. The analysis of the instability of curved sandwich panels will be mainly aimed at the case of lateral load distribution, considering the influence of geometric nonlinearity on the theore tical value of instability load.Using ANSYS shell 91 to verify the correctness of the theoretical formula of flat sandwich wall panel under axial compression and bending load. Using the finite element software to simulate curved sandwich panel deformation and instability and to analyze the differences between theory and simu lation and analyze the the sensitivity of the ultimate load of curved sandwich panel under the initial defects.
