In the face of complex and highly competitive market situation, major domestic manufacturers of excavators need to implement solutions to improve their competitiveness. Manufacturing Execution System(MES) is one of the main measures to enhance enterprises’ competitiveness, and respond to the turbulently changing market environments. However, MES need a lot of real-time production information to focus on the workshop production information management, and traditional manual or barcode data collection methods is difficult to meet this demand. As an efficient data collection method, Radio frequency identification(RFID) technology can make up for the defects of the current data collection methods of MES, in order to support visualization in the process of production, improve product quality, reduce the depletion of resources, and enhance the overall competitiveness. But, it’s difficult for the traditional MES to process vast amounts of RFID data fast and efficiently, therefore, the MES oriented RFID middleware research efforts have important practical significance, and it’s indispensable to promote the manufacturing information.In this paper, use RFID technology to strengthen the initiative and real-time of production information feedback in the excavator mixed flow assembly workshop, Design event-based RFID middleware to bridge the physical world and the upper application system, In order to reduce the complexity of business logic of the upper application system, increase the system’s scalability and flexibility.In this paper, the RFID middleware focuses on data processing of the excavator assembly production. On the basis of analysis of existing RFID middleware architecture, Proposed the event based RFID middleware architecture. On the basis of analysis of existing RFID data processing method, Proposed the Bayesian network based cleaning method of RFID cross reading data. On the basis of analysis of the excavator assembly production processes, Proposed the complex event detection method based Esper.
