Today, with the increasing energy consumption and decreasing energy conservation, the development of renewable energy attracts all countries’ great attention. The wind power has been widely used among many countries. For example, in Greece, wind power generation accounts for 30% of the total generation. Our country also attaches great importance to the use of wind power. As of 2014, wind power installed capacity in China has reaches 96.37 million kw, which accounts for 25% of the total wind power installed capacity in the world. But much wind power can not be used due to the randomicity of wind power. This paper studies how to make a reasonable scheduling plan to improve the use ratio of wind power on the premise of system safety. On the current, many scholars establishes a robust unit commitment model to deal with the randomness of the wind power. The goal of the robust unit commitment model is to find a scheduling plan which is suitable for all scenarios in the uncertainty set which is made up of different scenarios of wind power generation. This paper build the uncertainty set based on the extreme scenario method; facing the trend of the development of multiple power source types, the model in paper contains thermal power, gas power, wind power, hydro power, nuclear power and pumped-storage power; in the view of the traditional objective function generally aiming at the optimal cost, this article adds the environmental cost to the objective function to achieve a integrated optimal scheduling plan by analyzing the unit characteristic and the emissions targets.Through a simulation of the standard IEEE-118 nodes grid, we have verified the economic advantages of the robust unit commitment model and analysed the influence of wind power permeability and error range. The robust model in this paper can dispatch multi-types power sources and find the trade-off point between economy and robustness, what’s more, it can improve the use ratio of wind power on the premise of system safety.
