In the problem of robust unit commitment with wind power integration,the uncertainty set of wind power is usually expressed by the confidence interval of wind power output with a certain confidence.The confidence degree often depends on the experience,which is lack of theoretical basis.If the confidence interval of wind power output is too large,the economic performance of unit commitment is bad,but the robustness is better;On the contrary,if the confidence interval is too small,the economic performance is good,but the robustness is worse.Therefore,in order to achieve the best trade-off between the robustness and economical of the robust unit commitment plan,it is necessary to find a reasonable method to select the confidence interval of wind power output.This thesis focuses on the research on robust unit commitment problem considering optimization of wind power confidence interval:Firstly,the research background is briefly introduced,the model,solution method,Existing problem of unit commitment problem with wind power integration are given,and the research ideas and chapters arrangement are detailed.Secondly,the characteristics of wind power output and its forecast theory are introduced,and three methods of modeling the uncertainty of wind power output in the stochastic unit commitment are given.Among the methods of the how to build the uncertainty set,we chose the most suitable one after comparing the existed methods.Third,based on the theory of robust optimization,build the mathematical model of the traditional robust unit commitment problem with wind power integration,and give the solution method of it.Then prove the problem of the traditional robust unit commitment by the test result.The last,to solve the above problems,put forward a robust unit commitment model which considering the optimization of wind power confidence interval,give its objective function,constraint conditions and the computing method of abandoning wind power and lack of power supply in the model.To make the model simply,propose an effective method to make linearization processing of the abandoning wind power and lack of power supply.In the end of the chapter,give the concrete solving method of the model we proposed under two situations.Finally by the example tests under two situations prove the reasonable of the proposed model.The tests under the circumstance in which we consider the cost of abandoning wind power and the circumstance in which we not consider the cost of abandoning wind power show that the robust unit commitment model which considering the optimization of wind power confidence interval can find the optimal wind power output confidence interval and make the unit commitment plan achieve the best compromise between the economy and robust.
