The wireless power transmission system is based on the theory of electromagnetic coupling, the electrical energy from the primary side could effectively transmit to the secondary side through the air gap, which achieved the wireless power transmission between the two sides. Compared with the traditional power transmission mode, the wireless power transmission system avoids the wire aging, sparks and other problems. It is a safe and effective method for power transmission. In aerospace, medical equipment, electric vehicles, oil drilling and underwater operations and other occasions, the wireless power transmission technology has a broad application prospects.Ultrasonic assisted processing is a rotary ultrasonic processing technology. In the process, the high-speed rotary transducer rotates with the tool. It plays an important factor that how the electrical signal transmitted to the transducer ultrasound transducer in achieving ultrasonic machining. Traditional ultrasound-assisted process uses brushes and slip ring to supply for frictional contact transducer power. But this way has a lot of disadvantages, such as high heat, carbon deposit, and naked conductor. Based on the disadvantages of the traditional power transmission system in ultrasonic assisted machining, a kind of wireless power transmission system is proposed.Based on the study of the wireless power transmission system’s structure and the working principle, the wireless power transmission system is being established. Then depend on the equivalent method, established the resonance condition of the wireless power transmission in different topology forms, and also established the expression of the primary and secondary side in different topology forms. After that, combined the finite element simulation(Magnet software) with the experimental tests, determine the optimum impedance value of both sides’ match. Then analyze the influences of core sectional area, gap, axis shift, axis deflection to inductance, coupling coefficient and transmission efficiency.Depend on the rotary ultrasonic assisted machining systems’ need of power transmission and the disadvantage of traditional power transmission, wireless power transmission to provide a safe and reliable power supply. In the actual processing applications, in order to facilitate the processing center automatic tool changing, the half-ring Groove wireless power transmission system is being designed and studied. Establish half-ring groove wireless power transmission system model, and then analyze the influences of core sectional area, gap, axis shift, axis deflection to inductance, coupling coefficient and transmission efficiency.
