HIL(Hardware in the loop) test is the key point of HCU(Hybrid Controller Unit) test and component controller test. HIL test can verify function of the controller before bench test and road test to simplify the process of developing the controller. This passage gives an instruction of building HIL test platform based on NI PXI hardware and Veri Stand software and shows the process of HIL test of HCU and component controller. In addition, ways of automated test case generation are introduced to test controller strategy. Genetic Algorithm is used to generate test case automatically for hybrid control strategy.The structure and the process of HIL test based on Veri Stand are introduced. Sys ML is used to describe the structure and the process of HIL platform. BMS HIL platform is built to satisfy the needs of cell voltage simulation, total voltage simulation, temperature simulation and fault insertion unit test. To test hybrid control unit, HIL test platform for HCU is also built.Simulation model is the most important part in building HIL test platform. This passage analyses the structure of hybrid electric vehicle with planetary gear and builds simulation model of fuel cell hybrid powertrain system and parallel hybrid powertrain system. Sys ML is used to describe internal structure of the kinds of hybrid system. Besides, component models such as motor, battery, chassis are introduced in details.We use HIL test platform to verify function of BMS associated with fuel cell HEV controller. FIU card is used to simulate open circuit of battery cell to verify function and precision of BMS. We change the component fault state in HIL platform to verify function of hybrid control unit based on HCU HIL platform. Otherwise we use the way of HIL to test fuel economy of hybrid electric vehicle and Sys ML is used to describe the process.Genetic Algorithm is used to generate test case automatically for control strategy after comparing three search methods. After evaluating the way of generating test cases, the passage introduces the way of generating test case automatically using Game Theory.
