At present, China’s per capita water resources is about 2200m3, is the world’s average level of 1/3. With the development of economy and the increase of population, the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources is increasing day by day. The water supply pipe network is one of the important infrastructure in urban and rural, with the acceleration of the scale of urban expansion and rural urbanization, the scale of water supply pipe network also continues to expand, efficient operation management of the urban water supply pipeline brought new challenges. In recent years the leakage of water supply system in our country rate gradually increased, for some areas of water scarcity and water quality is not up to the standard of the long distance centralized water supply engineering. Due to various factors of technology, equipment and environment, the effective water supply is reduced, the cost of water supply is increased, and the waste of water resources is caused. According to the survey data show that, the leakage of water supply pipe network in our country rate of an average of about 20%, some local water pipe network leakage rate even higher up to about 40%. Because the water leakage phenomenon, the serious influence to the city and the rural drinking water project of normal water supply. In addition some water supply pipeline project across the railway, highway, if pipeline leak can not be timely found and repaired, will result in damage to roads and security problems, resulting in huge economic losses. To effectively solve the practical problems, this research introduced foreign advanced pipeline leak detection equipment and technology, the research target is in the leakage of underground water pipe pop out of the ground before, using a variety of testing equipment active search of underground pipeline leakage point, and timely to the repair.The Ministry of water resources of the people’s Republic of China "948" project(No: 201118) "pipeline leak test location technology" as the core content, through the introduction of British Halma Water Management of poor sales control DMA integration system, namely pipeline leak localization testing equipment and technology for China’s national conditions corresponding modification of the pipeline leak detection equipment system technology, improve and popularize and apply. And strive to achieve in the leakage of underground water pipe pop out of the ground before, the use of Trenchless Pipeline Leakage Detection and accurate positioning of the testing equipment, to solve the rural central water supply projects in the pipeline leakage detection difficult problem, effectively shorten the pipeline leakage repair time, reduce the cost of repairing the pipeline, improve water supply reliability, effectively protect the safety of urban water supply project.Main research contents of the thesis:1)The hardware improvement and software system development and application of the DMA partition measurement system;2) Hardware improvement and software system development and application of Pt Ma penetration early warning system;3) The application of precise positioning system leak;4)Technology application and achievement analysis;Through the above research the main conclusions are: 1) After more than a year of efforts, from equipment and technology introduction, digestion, absorption, site selection, equipment installation and commissioning, promotion demonstration application and innovation have accumulated a lot of experience and achieved good results, provide technical support for Shanxi Province and even the National Rural water supply project pipeline leak test.2) Yan Jia Zhuang Cun, Xinjiang county centralized water supply project after the detection of the leakage rate is controlled within 12%, the daily water supply of 450m3/d, then reduce the loss amount is 13140m3, calculated at 2 Yuan /m3, is expected to restore economic losses 26280Yuan/year; 3) In Shanxi Province, Xinjiang county, Yan village store centralized water supply project, city water supply in Taiyuan city and Linfen city were tested to reduce the amount of Water Leakage 319.5 万m3, total economic losses 639 million yuan/year, has obvious economic benefit; 4) For pipeline pressure and flow rate is far less than the pipeline design pressure and flow rate, detection error, this is England Halma Water Management DMA system application difficulties.
