Traditional forms of train brake is dependent on the adhesion between wheel/rail tread brake, the disc shape or regenerative braking, braking resistance, but the adhesive coefficient between wheel/rail with the improvement of train speed decreases, with the improvement of high-speed train speed, the traditional braking form have already can’t meet the needs of the high-speed EMU emergency braking. Forms as a kind of is not dependent on the wind resistance brake adhesive coefficient between wheel/rail braking way, under the high speed EMU from high speed running state reduction, especially during emergency braking, can provide effective auxiliary braking for high-speed EMU. Wind resistance braking device USES air as power source, braking force from the air resistance, no friction braking process, thus the braking energy saving, environmental protection, no pollution, no abrasion, compared with other braking way, has obvious advantages. Wind resistance braking device, the high-speed train braking areas for the future research is of great significance.At home and abroad are analyzed in this paper the main form of train braking, the present situation of the high-speed EMU brake technology and the main problems existing in the braking technology, put forward and the main research a kind of used for the gills wind resistance braking device of high-speed EMU. With existing installed on the train at the top of the wind resistance braking device, gill type wind resistance brake symmetrically arranged in the high speed EMU car body two side, installed on the side wall of high-speed EMU, can be on either side of the car body of high-speed EMU train according to different design into different spacing number and decorate a form. Without considering the premise of railway locomotive vehicle limits, this article has carried on the gills wind resistance braking device structure design and system design; Wind resistance brake plate of the apparatus for the stress analysis, studies the position of poles fulcrum and wind resistance brake plate stress changes; Applying the brake running at high speed, the wind resistance of brake plate open Angle changes on the car body of extrusion(horizontal) changes; For wind resistance force of the brake plate finite element analysis, in the case of guarantee strength, the reasonable brake plate thickness; Wind resistance of different number of brake plate and the distance to the vehicle flow field simulation, determine the economic and reasonable gills wind resistance brake type device number and spacing.This article research results to ensure the high speed EMU the correctness of the gills wind resistance braking device design, the advanced nature and rationality, in order to high-speed bullet train braking areas to provide a new type energy saving high efficient, clean environmental protection way of auxiliary brake.
