The Development Of The Coal Mill Rotating Separator MPS Type

At thermal power plant, coal mill is core equipment of coal pulverizing system. Pulverized coal classifier is the key part of coal mill. The classifier separates the pulverized coal and send the coal into burner. So the coal classifier performance directly impacts the harmful substance emission from the combustion of boiler. The rotating pulverized coal classifier is preferred by end users because of its excellent performance and convenient adjustment. The subject of this article is about rotating pulverized coal classifier of MPS type coal mill.This article is given the general design proposal of rotating classifier by analysis of combustion requirement of coal and performance parameters of rotating type classifier and also on the basis of MPS type coal mill output, interface size, primary air etc. The design combines static blades set and rotor impeller, the VF electric motor drives the blade impeller and pulverize two-stage coal separation. The design uses mechanical seal and gas seal for pulverized coal sealing. The article provides detailed structure design of main components,On the basis of general design, the article established system physical model and research on the rotor, identified the mathematical model of air-solid air and pulverized coal two phase flow, numerical simulation by computational fluid dynamic analysis software FLUENT, in the simulation of impeller with different speed and coal particle sizes, research on the separating effect and rotor erosion.According to the design requirement and performance index, conducted the site performance test for the rotating classifier. Collected relevant data and statistical analysis, the result of this design pulverized coal class ifier is fully meeting the design requirement and performance index. The rotating pulverized coal classifier could be design reference for similar product in China.
