The Yellow River water as raw water for the water treatment of Jinan Yuqing water plant. The raw water quality has the problems such as low turbidity, high algae and organic matter and disinfection by-products. Conventional coagulation, sedimentation, filtration and disinfection process was used in the early stage,the smell and turbidity of the factory water are very difficult to pass. To ensure the water quality and safety of water supply, optimize the existing process of water treatment plant.In this study, the water quality of raw water and the limitations of the original process are analyzed. Process and technology preferred by contrast, strengthen the whole process of the old. According to different working conditions, the operating efficiency of the process in the spring and summer is investigated, and the optimum operating conditions are optimized.This study include the following aspects:(1)Research method of water purification process for water treatment plant;(2)Optimization design of water treatment process system;(3)Study on the process efficiency of the reform in spring;(4)Evaluation of the operation effect of the high smell and taste in summer.The raw water turbidity is low, but with the increasing pollution in the Yellow River, the content of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen increased, and the content of algae was high and showed seasonal variation.The treatment effect of the old process is poor, it is difficult to adapt to the high quality of the factory water quality requirements, so it is urgent to transform the original process.To strengthen the whole process of the old process: adding a pretreatment agent and adding system; in the front of the settling tank, the mechanical stirring mixing tank is added; the traditional advection sedimentation tank is replaced by floating tank; a group of sand filter is changed for active carbon filter; a UV disinfection system is set. In this paper, the design parameters and the reform plan of the transformation process are detailed, and the new technological process and advantages are summarized.In spring and summer, the removal of turbidity, algae, chlorophyll a, MIB, three nitrogen and other pollutants under different operating conditions were investigated, and compared with the old process, the best condition is optimized.The average removal rate of turbidity was 95.10% in the whole process of the high algae period in spring; the removal rate of algae was 66.83%, the removal rate of chlorophyll A was 100%, and the average removal rate of algae was 96.07%. In summer high odor period, the average turbidity removal rate is 94.26% of the whole process under six different conditions, the algae removal rate is 59.63%, the 2- removal of 2-MIB rate averaged 67.94%.Through comprehensive evaluation, fourth cases(chlorine dioxide enhanced coagulation) are the best operating conditions of the two season. After the transformation, in spring, the removal rate of turbidity and algae by sand filter and floating pool are increased, but the removal rate of chlorophyll A is inferior to the old process. In Summer, floating sedimentation tank and filter on turbidity and MIB removal rate are increased, and the removal rate of algae was worse than that of the old process. This shows that compared with the old process in the process of the improvement of the old process.
