The Research Of Urban Waterfront Landscape Design

Urban river is a valuable resource for a city, the landscape value and ecological value make urban waterfront area become the focus of city construction. For a long time, urban waterfront to flood control facilities and riverside green space pattern of development,although in a certain extent meet the beautification of the environment and people’s leisure needs, but this utilitarian approach has led to the river’s natural style of the loss and the ecological environment of the river destroyed, also caused the similarity of the waterfront landscape. How to meet the specific conditions of the site to meet the water function,ecological function, rich natural beauty of the public space is the goal and difficulty of urban waterfront landscape construction.The from riparian landscape design is related to the concept, development course, three aspects of the objectives, principles and methods of the design of waterfront landscape design theory do detailed analysis and interpretation, and as the theoretical basis of this paper. The in Sanmenxia Gorge River Park as the research object, the theory combined with practice to carry out to the site landscape and site activities as the breakthrough point, the Sanmenxia Gorge River Park is taken as an example, and combined with the excellent cases investigation and comparative, summarizes the defects of the current design. To overcome the defects of the foregoing summary of, from the waterfront landscape space continuity and riparian landscape integration, green design both improvement of function and art, space diversity, traffic network of perfect, hydrophilic facilities, special landscape to create seven aspects proposed renovation strategy and according to the transformation strategy, the implementation of including revetment modification, hydrophilic activity space design, road reconstruction,green design and transformation of the specific measures for improvement, thus achievingecological, functional use, aesthetics in various conforms to the specific site conditions of the waterfront landscape. Hope this research can have a positive reference value of Sanmenxia Gorge River waterfront landscape construction, and can give others with similar conditions of the riparian landscape construction to provide the reference and eventually meet the local characteristics of outstanding waterfront landscape design.
