Urban Waterfront Area Hydrophilic Space Design Research

Water is the source of civilization development. As a region on the border river, River, Lake, sea, edge of the waterfront areas are land, is also the edge of the water. Because people’s dependence on water and close to the waterfront area as people aspire to, gathering place, waterfront area for the formation of the urban landscape to provide a good environment, combined with the waterfront areas of public open space in the various elements of setting, waterfront area become one of the most attractive and most of the city with great potential of space. As the opportunity for urban regeneration and riverside areas development brings huge environmental, social and economic benefits.Therefore, this document select the waterfront area water space as the most dynamic research, analysis of the people who constitute a hydrophilic space system for a more in-depth discussion.Full text is divided into six chapters, chapter outlines the background of study and as an overview of the research object of Minjiang River Park; Chapters Ⅱ,Ⅲ are defined two important concepts to the space for water and the water activity;Fourth chapter analyses the hydrophilic design elements and design idea of space; The fifth chapter analyses the hydrophilic space design ideas and design principles; Sixth chapter Fuzhou Minjiang River Park planning and design as an example, to deepen and verify the method described above.Construction of the core content of this article is both dynamic and attractive urban waterfront area water space, hydrophilic space design truly reflect concern for people.
