Presently, the method about the assessment of the existing structure reliability mainly uses the verification method of structure reliability design, which is the practical design expression with the partial coefficient. In practice, on the one hand, the existing structure has been transformed into the realistic spatial entities, and there existed a significant difference with the proposed structure, on the other hand, the method is determined on the basis of the proposed structure, the method may not be completely applicable to the existing structure. The basic way of the assessment for the existing structural safety design should be consistent with the reliability control mode,to measure the reliability index of the structure safety as evaluation index. But the current design method can not take directly the characteristics of the basic variable probability, target reliability index and design working life on design results into account. So it is difficult to use the current design method to establish evaluation method based on reliability index. The current method is based on it and building a practical evaluation method. For the shortcoming of the current safety evaluation method, on the basis of previous work, determined the reliability index based on the classification standard, and further puts forward a general method for existing structural safety assessment. The main research contents and work including:(1)The current structural reliability calibration of safety assessment method.This paper is based on the practical design expression with the partial coefficient,calibrates the structural reliability of the safety assessment method, indicates the defects of the current classification standard and puts forward the necessity of classification standard which is based on the reliability index;(2)The classification standard which is based on the reliability index. In this paper, the evaluation for component security directly uses the evaluation method based on reliability index, this methodology takes directly the characteristics of the basic variable probability, target reliability index and design working life on design results into account. In this paper, the classification standard has clear and reasonable determination basis and can reflect the influence of component position, failure mode,safety level and can more accurately control the reliability level of all kinds of components;(3)The average method of assessing the existing structural safety. The paper is based on the general expression of structural safety design,and establishes the average method of assessing safety. Finally puts forward practical classification standard.Practical classification standard has good flexibility and universality and can more accurately control the reliability level of all kinds of components.
