With the rapid development of economic and the acceleration of urban construction, Building large spaces began to emerge. This includes the large space of the acoustic building and the large space of the non acoustics building.In general, the acoustic construction of large space will be conducted by a professional acoustic designer acoustic design, under normal circumstances, the sound quality can be guaranteed. But in the design of non acoustic large space, the space acoustic environment is seldom considered, which leads to many problems. The most common is the reverberation time is too long.But In the Large space of Large Crowded. The crowded of people lead to the reverberation time long, the internal acoustic environment is getting worse.And because of the reason of work and life,it is inevitable that people should be stay in this kind of space.As a result, the influence of the sound environment on the crowded large space is becoming more and more serious.Therefore, to improve the sound environment of the class of large space.To create a sound environment for people is a topic worthy of attention and research.This paper first introduces the types of large space and the characteristics of the sound field.It is pointed out that the main source of the interior noise in this kind of space, the propagation characteristics of sound waves in the interior and the common problems in the internal acoustic environment. And introduces the harm of noise, noise evaluation, the principle of sound absorption and noise reduction, sound absorption and noise reduction calculation and design steps and so on.Secondly, select Xi’an second-hand housing transactions hall, Xi’an Railway Station ticket hall, Little Swan children’s theater venues, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University clinic hall for testing.Select Xi’an railway station ticket office and Xi’an Jiaotong University First Affiliated Hospital outpatient service hall conducted a questionnairesurvey,using the research method of combining subjective questionnaire and field test, This research studies the acoustic environment of this kind of space from the subjective feeling and objective data.In based on the questionnaire survey and test data, combined with the status quo of the space, analysis of the effects of the acoustic environment of the causes, and points out that the reason of people feel noisy is the long reverberation time, there are many reverberant sound.In the last part of this paper, to verify the typical architecture space.Comparing the data before and after the treatment of sound absorption and noise reduction in Xi’an second-hand housing transaction Hall.For other building space without sound absorption and noise reduction, only through the theoretical calculation, pointed out the feasibility of sound absorption and noise reduction in this kind of space in theory. To provide reference for the future design and transformation of similar building space for the class of large space intensive to create a sound environment.
