Reserarch On Relationship Between The Owner Negative Behavior And Architect Work Engagement

The context of construction project in our country, the right of discourse in terms of architectural design by architectural design and urban planning experts and scholars for dominant position, but in fact owners of discourse power accounts for a high proportion, the imbalance of this discourse resulted in owners has been a lot of negative behavior in construction projects; many scholars have been aware the dangers of the negative behavior in practical design process, but the academic circles on the system research is less. Based on this, this paper studies negative behavior of owners for the architects, and the relationship between owner’s negative behavior and architect work engagement.This study through combing literature and theory, owner’s negative behavior is defined, and based on its definition, good reliability and validity of index system is developed, it can be used for measuring owner’s negative behaviors, for future research to provide reference by using methods of literature research, depth interviews, expert consultation, statistical analysis and so on. The hypothesis model of relationship between owner’s negative behavior and architect work engagement was constructed with good reliability and validity, and the hypothesis test was carried out.The test results that, each dimension of owner’s negative behavior have significant negative prediction function on the vitality and dedication dimensions, and it have significant positive predictive effect on the focus dimension; architects regulate self-mood dimension have negative regulating effect in the relationship between the owner’s negative behavior and architect work vitality dimension; architects regulate self-mood dimension and application emotion dimension of emotional intelligence have positive regulating effect in the relationship between the owner’s negative behavior and architect work focus dimension. Finally, the research results are discussed and the corresponding suggestions are put forward for the two aspects of the owner and the architect.
