Self-lubricating rod end spherical pain bearings, which would lead to catastrophic accidents if failed, is one of the key parts of the helicopter tail rotor system. Due to the factors that affect the failure of bearing are multiple, the single bearing fatigue test in the design stage is not an accurate evaluation of the accuracy and life of the bearing, performance parameters, such as reliability. So the simulation of the actual flight stages as various as possible is needed in order to test a complete set of bearings, which is of urgent and important significance to ensure the safe operation of the tail rotor system. Therefore, in this paper a tail rotor bearing comprehensive service life testing machine with four self-lubricating rod end joint bearing combines has been devised.In this dissertation, the tester specific functions and the related parameters are determined based on actual demand. Through the function analysis method, it can be divided into the oscillation system, the loading system, the variable pitch system and the measurement and control system and the corresponding design is completed. The crankshaft and the high frequency swinging shaft and other components of the oscillation system are optimization designed. The actual crankshaft dynamic balancing testing is performed to class G2.5 to meet the requirement.By using the ADAMS software, establish the dynamic model of the oscillation system is established to get the swinging rod load spectrum of the swinging rod when it gets work. The curve relationship of stress changing over time is obtained by transient analysis, so as to determine the fatigue risk position of swinging rod. By combining the S-N curve and fatigue damage accumulation theory, finally the minimum swinging rod diameter is concluded meeting precision and fatigue life.By using the ANSYS software to perform the modal analysis of the swinging system and its enclosure, and by studying the dynamic characteristics of the swing system under the condition of load, the previous order natural frequency and vibration mode are concluded; The influence of dynamic characteristics to swing accuracy is analyzed to ensure the vibration resistance of the system.
