As a kind of universal machine parts,self-lubricating spherical plain bearings are widely used in aerospace,medical equipment,national defense and military,construction machinery and other important fields.self-lubricating spherical plain Bearing is often used in various extreme working conditions,it is easy to occur various forms of failure.However,the key technology field of self-lubricating spherical plain Bearings in China is still in the exploratory stage,and it is difficult to study its working life in theory.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a self-lubricating spherical plain Bearing life testing machine which can simulate the actual working conditions.In the past,when a certain type of self-lubricating spherical plain Bearing was tested under a specific working condition,it was necessary to design a special testing machine which needs a long development cycle and high price.In this paper,the modular design idea is used to design the test machine.Through the reconfiguration and combination of the modules,the test machine can satisfy the needs of various working conditions in a more economical way.By this way the research and development cycle was shortened It avoided repetitive design and realized green manufacturing.The modular design in this paper includes the modular design of mechanical structure and the modular design of measurement and control software.The modular design process of mechanical structure includes the basic configuration analysis of the testing machine,the demonstration of the principle scheme,the three-dimensional modeling of the module,the selection of parts and the dynamic analysis and dynamic characteristics analysis of the model structure.The measurement and control program is modularized by virtual instrument.The software part is based on LabVIEW programming.The hardware of the control system is based on Yanhua industrial computer and data acquisition card.Finally,this paper used the existing laboratory testing machine equipment as the research object,explored the rules of online measurement error of wear,and designed error compensation method,which provided reference for the design of modular testing machine in this topic.
