This paper puts forward an electromechanical integrated magnetic gear(EIMGM),which not only has all the advantages of the traditional field modulated magnetic gear,like no mechanical fatigue,no lubrication, and inherent overload protection,etc. but also integrates in the drive and control,and has a larger transmission ratio,providing larger torque at a low speed,simplifying transmission routs.The transmission mechanism analysis of the EIMG. On the base of the EIMG’s transmission mechanism, the mathematical models of the flux density of the four lays air gap’s middle position were build by the analytic method. The static torque expressions are deduced according to the Maxwell stress tensor method. Using of the MATLAB,the static torque characteristics of inner rotor,outer rotor and outer stator were worked out.The finite element simulation of the EIMG.By the electromagic simulation software,Ansoft Maxwell, the 2D model of the EIMG was build, and conduct electromagnetic calculation. Magnetic field distribution,the radial and tangential flux density,the radial flux density space harmonic numbers,static torque characteristics of the inner rotor and outer stator and the influence law of design variable to the maximum static torque and torque density of the inner rotor and the outer stator were worked out.Single target parameters optimization of the EIMG.The first and second optimization objective function, constraint conditions of the EIMG were build. Using MATLAB nonlinear parameter optimization method, the multi-parameter objective function was solved, obtaining the structure optimization design parameters’ s optimal value.On the base of the MATLAB/GUI, the EIMG structure parameters optimization software was designed.The EIMG structural design,production and debuggingwere completed. The torque characteristic test platform was build. According to the experimental test results,verify the right of the EIMG transmission mechanism and performance.
