Electronic stability control system ESC, the anti-lock braking systems, traction control and active yaw control system combining real-time monitoring of whether the vehicle is in under steer or over steer and other unstable state, which can regulate system pressure and engine output torque. It can keep the vehicle under various conditions of stability and driving safety.The development of the matching process of ESC requires extensive testing. Real vehicle test results are accurate, but are costly, low efficiency. During the test, there are some risks. Therefore, the development of high-precision ESC full working condition simulation test bench, realistic simulation of various operating environments of the car, can replace a large number of real vehicle tests. To the development of ESC control algorithm, matching test has an important role.Thesis researches ESC hardware in loop simulation experience and infrastructure platform. The overall function of the bench, the overall structure and basic composition of a specific elaboration are introduced. According to the actual need, a full PXI-based ESC condition simulation test bench is designed. In this paper, based on the pre-development work bench, and to expand each part of the test-bed structures, specific research work as follows:(1) According to the survey results and the actual needs, the design of ESC overall performance simulation test bench is proposed.(2) According to the five components of the test bed: industrial control cabinets, piping cabinets, temperature control box, sensor simulation boxes, driving simulator. Each part of the hardware unit is conducted research, processed and installed. In the test bench, based on the basis of real vehicle braking system, arranged the test and control of high precision equipment, ensure the accuracy of the test bench.(3) Based on software Carsim complete vehicle model is built and using Labview prepared a man-machine interface, achieve running and debugging PXI real-time systems. Complete test bench four data communications programming, as well as experimental data storage, data playback, experimental report generation programs.(4)According to the successfully developed ESC products and matching models, the comparison of the simulation and real vehicle experiments is verified the ESC full condition simulation accuracy and correctness of simulation testing platform. Through the experiment in a series of hardware in the loop(FMVSS126, double line change) to verify the basic function of the full process simulation test bed. The experimental results show that the system can accomplish the ESC function test task.
