The Design Of Smart Home Sysytem Based On Wireless Heterogeneous Networks

At present, the main problems of smart home system are lack of remote monitoring, control systems which are low cost and distributed extensible, as well as the support of access networks which are high-capacity, two-way communications, and real-time. With the current development of smart home system and the research status of wireless network technology, this paper proposes a kind of smart home system based on wireless heterogeneous networks. Through the precise design of the system precisely, information interaction between the wireless heterogeneous networks and the remote monitoring function of the smart home system is realized.The overall framework, major components and application functions of the smart home system is designed in this paper. Among them, the wireless gateway and wireless node’s hardware design, software design and the communication implementation based on protocol conversion between heterogeneous networks are mainly researched. In the aspect of hardware, the CC2530 wireless chip is chosen to realize the data processing of Zig Bee network and the function of radio frequency receiving and dispatching for he Zig Bee coordinator of wireless gateway and wireless nodes. The Wi-Fi controller which is part of wireless gateway using CC3200 wireless chip realizes the information interaction of heterogeneous networks with the help of family route to introduce the Zig Bee network data and Wi-Fi network data into the Internet cloud platform. In the aspect of software, the working mode of wireless nodes and the communication mode of the Zig Bee network is designed, through the research of smart home system’s application function. The data communication between Zig Bee network is realized with the establishment of star Network. Then, the Zig Bee network data and Wi-Fi network data are introduced into the Internet cloud platform according to the program design of wireless gateway. And finally, with designing protocol conversion program, the Information interaction between heterogeneous networks is achieved.At the end of this paper, the smart home system is tested. Results show that: the smart home system which is based on wireless heterogeneous network, sensor data acquisition、the heterogeneous network communication according to protocol conversion、system’s real-time monitoring and remote control, are able to meet the application requirements.
