Nowadays, the world energy crisis appeared. All industries are concerned about how to save energy. Hydraulic system consumes more energy than mechanical and electrical systems.due to multiple energy transformation. Application of hydraulic system is being replaced by other areas. Trends of hydraulic system is how to improve the efficiency by reducing consumption. Thus hydraulic system not only need to ensure high performance and reliability requirements, but also ensure energy saving. Today, the energy-saving of most hydraulic industry is achieved by improving the control characteristics of pumps, but few people research how to improve the energy efficiency of the valve. Therefore, researching a valve which can save energy by eliminating throttling losses provides a new way to save energy for hydraulic system.In this paper, it design an independent import and export control hydraulic control system of excavator according to the principle of independent import and export control valve.Also, it study the energy-saving features of the system and get three ways of energy saving by reducing the system pressure, eliminating throttling losses and reducing the pump displacement. After that it build a simulation model of the system. Accroding to the simulation, it turned out to be that the load ports independent control systems more energy efficient than the load sensing system. At last, it verify the correctness of the theory by experiments. It test the valve performance in experimental test station to ensure that the key elements, like pump and valve, can work properly. Then it carried out machine performance testing of the XE60 CA excavator. The results showed that: the new system can ensure the normal operation of the machine. It also showed that load ports independent control system is more better than the load sensing system for energy-saving effect. Then it can significantly improve the efficiency of the hydraulic system. This study opens up new avenues for the efficiency of the hydraulic system and the load port independent control valves for industrial application lay the theoretical and technical basis.
