The rapid development of urbanization has brought the rapid expansion of the city, at the same time, the power consumption and the power load increased year by year, the city power grid put forward higher new normal requirements. As the city becomes more and more violent, the power overhead line is gradually replaced by the underground power cable. The performance of power cable is the key to determine the power supply reliability of the power transmission line and the key to the safe and stable operation of power grid. And the performance of the cable is closely related to the quality of the cable insulation layer. Cable insulation layer with the passage of time, the surrounding environment of corrosion and long-term operation and other reasons, the inevitable emergence of damage and aging. Past power cable laying underground environment relative overhead lines more subtle and complex, how to carry on the real-time online monitoring of power cable line running, control the running environment of the early perceptual, its insulation performance, to ensure the security and stability of the line running is particularly important. Studies have shown that power cable insulation layer performance and cable insulation surface temperature linear correlation, we can through the discovery cable insulation layer surface temperature obtained the power cable line performance, so as to identify the real-time operation data and analysis equipment risk and improve the fault processing mechanism to quickly and to protect the power grid operating temperature. So it is an urgent and important subject to study the temperature of power cable line in real time.In recent years, distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system has been widely used in many fields, such as power engineering, petrochemical industry, subway, tunnel, etc., and its engineering applications show a rapid growth. Distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system in both the experimental data and the actual project application has exceeded many difficulties, its various technical indicators and overall performance to be better promotion, prompting the system research work into a deeper level, to the spatial resolution of the smaller, more high precision temperature resolution rate and longer distance transmission direction.In this paper, the application of optical fiber temperature measurement system in Zhuhai bureau is studied and analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the principle of power cable monitoring technology is introduced. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the partial discharge test, the traditional temperature measurement method and the on-line optical fiber temperature measurement technology, the advantages and disadvantages of the optical fiber temperature measurement system in the application of power cable are analyzed. Further research on the mechanism of Raman scattering and optical time domain reflection technology to explain the basic principle and application of optical fiber temperature measurement system. In combination with the field practice environment and daily operation and maintenance experience, a set of standard optical fiber temperature measurement system is designed. In this system, the hardware and software of the optical fiber temperature measurement is set up and the function of the system is realized. Finally in the Zhuhai area to the temperature measurement system to make the spot actual experiment contrast analysis.The research of this paper has important significance for ensuring the safe and stable operation of power cable and on-line temperature monitoring. It can also be used for the future engineering more large-scale and effective application of optical fiber temperature measurement system, to protect the power cable online monitoring and stability, provide reference and guidance.
