In recent years, the intelligent remote automatic meter reading technology gradually spread and get attention in China. The traditional manual meter reading is tedious. But it is solved by remote meter reading technology. Remote meter reading technology make a significant contribution to the development of information technology.According to the trend in recent years, the development of embedded system technology, GPRS wireless data communication technology, power line meter reading technology, this paper discusses national grid acquisition system of concentrator, include the hardware design and software framework structures, driver and application software. It realizes the data acquisition, data management and operation maintenance management, and other features of the application. In this paper, the design of concentrator using GPRS network for data communication, using RS485 bus and the power line carrier communication technology reading meter data, using the Blackfin BF531 chip as the hardware platform by VDK core as the core of the system.The concentrator is multifunctional, need to handle large amounts of data, at the same time satisfy the AC sampling function. In this paper, we design the DSP BF531 chip to collect the data from AD73360 and FFT arithmetic to get the above data of AC sampling. Because BF531 chip operation speed is fast. The scheme can fully meet the functional requirements of AC sampling, and does not affect the use of concentrator normal function.BF531 platform concentrator is designed in this paper has obtained the national grid qualified report, indicating that the scheme is feasible and effective, and has a broad application prospect and practical value.
