Besides permanent load such as dead weight, structures will also suffer accidental load at service stage, like blast, impact and environmental disasters. This paper studies the nonlinear dynamic response of steel beam and frame under blast loading using finite element software LS-DYNA. The main works are shown as below:(1)This paper performs numerical simulation on a blast test of the steel beam in the article. By comparing the blast loading results and the deformation of steel beam, this paper verifies the method of simulating, and obtains the critical explosive charge that causes the beam into plastic deformation. Based on these works, this paper proposes the single-degree simplified model of the steel beam, and verifies the validity of the simplified model by comparing the calculated displacement value and the simulation result, which coincide with each other reasonably.(2)This paper performs dynamic response simulation of a steel frame structure under external blast loading, considering the explosive location, explosive charge and explosive distance. It figures out the most adverse explosive locations outside the structure and the most effective factor.(3)This paper performs dynamic response simulation of a steel frame structure under internal blast loading, considering different explosive locations by altering horizontal explosive distance and height. It figures out the explosive locations that cause the maximum response of structure. |
