It is not only possess the advantages of large span capacity, beautiful design, wind resistance, but also has good points, such as flexible construction techniques and economic benefits. The cable-stayed system always is the best choice of the cross-sea bridges. Butas a result, the difficulty, such as the risk of offshore construction, steel structure manufacture, construction machines, the positioning technology, time scheduleof a project and the cost-effectiveness also appear one by one. The essay will use Hong Kong-Zhuhai-MacaoBridge as the background to beresearched. It will compare the construction technology of girder and cable tower and discuss the construction technology of the cross-sea cable-stayed steel bridge.First of all, we will use the software Midas/Civil for calculation of the whole bridge structure model’s simulation, based on the upper structures and design parameter of the cable-stayed. Simulating a construction process, by iterative calculation in the software, we will get the stress and deformation results of the upper structure under reasonable state.Secondly, we’ll choose two girder construction methods based on comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several kinds of main girder construction process. Respectively stimulate the two construction phase of free cantilever erection construction and large segment hoisting constructionand calculate the difference betweenthe static condition and displacement condition of girders based on the bridge model underconstruction phase. Then according to the importance of the influence factors of construction technology plan, get the best solution for detailed introduction to girder construction.Thirdly, we’ll analysis the calculation result to get the stress and displacement of the cable tower under different construction stages, based on the chosen main girder construction process. And through the software to analyse the stress under different construction stages when the cable tower hoisting. Then discuss the rationality and safety of cable tower. And also according to the reasonable experiences, we’ll state the construction technology of the cable tower in detail.Finally,according to the advantages and disadvantages of the bridge construction method, the paper makes a conclusion in a word, and raises a question of construction difficulties.Through the exposition of this paper,the development of the large span cable-stayed bridge in the future will be a certain conjecture.At the same time,some good suggestions and ideas are given to the construction technology of the upper structure of the large span cable-stayed bridge in China.
