With the development of EMU(Electric Mult iple Units) manufacturing technology level,process equipment is more and more complex,in order to improve the degree of automation for EMU debug and reduce errors caused by human factors, need to develop a debug equipment with higher degree of automation to meet the need of EMU fast debug,complete EMU reconnection operation and electrical signals test in a short period of time.This paper based on the functional requirements of the system, overall design of pure electric EMU reconnection experimental device is completed. It is divided into two parts, includes pure electric ve hicles and debug system consist of man- machine interface and PLC. According to the functional requirements of reconnection experiments and electrical signal testing transform the pure electric vehicle and design the hardware and software of debug system. The transform for the pure electric vehicle concludes retrofitting the front and rear guide roller to meet the requirements running in the railway and retrofitting remote control unit to achieve wireless control of the vehicle. The design of the debug system hardware includes selection of PLC, man- machine interface, voltage transmitter and design of hardware as voltage condit ioning circuit, T1/T8 line sequential switch circuit. The debug system software design in accordance with the basic principles of program design complete programming design for PLC and ma n- machine interface, finally, verify that meet all functional requirements or not through reconnection test, the electrical signal test and wireless control test.The experimental device through the acceptance of the function parameters, achieve the relevant technical requirements, was practical applied in the workshop now. Compared with the traditional artificial devices, high efficiency, stable and reliable.
