China is focus on the infrastructure of the rapid construction, especially underground engineering(such as subway, light rail, railway tunnel, highway tunnel municipal pipeline etc.) construction. This provides an unprecedented opportunity for the development of tunnel construction technology, and also provides a platform for the TBM tunnel construction technology to show the advantages and realize the value.However, the diversity of the complexity of the geological conditions and TBM tunneling parameters, makes the reasonable prediction of the TBM speed becomes very difficult. So the establishment of a reasonable prediction of the model, the quantitative relationship between the influencing factors of in-depth study to guide future TBM tunnel construction operations, has very important significance for the development of future TBM tunnel construction technology. Articles analyzes the rock fragmentation of TBM cutters, from TBM rock breaking mechanism, summarized the factors that influence the rate of TBM when combined with the results of previous studies. It including four categories, 13 factors. In addition, based on the results of previous studies, the article put forward the substantive problems in the present stage. Comprehensive introduction of number theory, HLM and other advanced modeling methods and concepts to explore a forecast for the rate of TBM mathematical model, and the following four aspects in-depth study:(1)Integrated the predictive performance of the prediction model reference variable and the corresponding, summarize the more comprehensive predictor variables of TBM tunneling speed;(2)The aiticle collects engineering field and experimental data and analysis of the corresponding relationship between the parameters and the driving speed of TBM;(3)Analysis the difficulty of achieving the accurate prediction of driving speed, the article established a new prediction model basied on learning from the success of similar engineering data processing method and other analysis theory of both economics and education science, and then analyzed the quantitative effect of each parameter on TBM penetration rate;(1)Analysis of the relationship between the impact of factors, what’s more, the paper simplified prediction model in the premise of ensuring the model accuracy, and it will provide guidance for reasonable prediction of tunneling speed and effective control of construction schedule for similar projects;(2)Through the two aspects of prediction model and application analysis, the paper proved the application reliability of the model, and make recommendations for a better future construction of TBM based on parameter estimates results of the model.
