The rapid growth of DC motor control system, and frequency control system of asynchronous motor lead to the rise of a new motor control system —switched reluctance motor drive system(referred to as SRD), and switched reluctance motor(referred to as SRM) has many advantages, such as simple structure, strong reliability, high economy and so on, which lead to the strong market competitiveness and broad application prospects of SRM. However, SRM, whose stator and the rotor are salient, and the SRM follow the principle of step by step, so the nonlinearity of SRM is very strong. Under the traditional control method, the problem of torque ripple and electromagnetic noise of SRD is particularly prominent, and even can cause speed shock. These shortcomings have greatly restricted the development of SRM. Therefore, the researches of SRM control strategy and high performance speed control method are of great significance to the further development of SRM. This thesis focused on 12/8 SRM as the research object, study on the aspects of control strategy and high performance speed control method. The main researches of the thesis are as follows:(1) The structure and operation principle of 12/8 SRM are studied. The finite element analysis is conducted.The model of SRM in Matlab/Simulink is built based on the method of look-up table.(2) Exponential distribution function of the torque control of SRM torque distribution are proposed in the SRM torque sharing control. The appropriate position angle of the torque distribution function is obtained by using the torque ripple suppression degree as the main target and the reduction of motor copper loss as a secondary goal; the inverse model of the torque-angle characteristics of SRM is trained by BCC-LS-SVM. The simulation model is built by the control strategy proposed in the thesis, and the torque ripple suppression effect is verified.(3) The fuzzy sliding mode speed controller of SRM is designed. The gain of switching function of SMC is adjusted by fuzzy control to achieve the purpose of optimizing the quality of sliding mode motion, and the dynamic performance of the SRM is improved. The effect of control under PID and FSMC is compared in the thesis.(4) The control system of SRD is designed based on DSP TMS320F2812. The position detection circuit, current and voltage detection and protection circuit, power converter are designed in the hardware system, and the software system is combined by main procedure, initialization procedure and interrupt procedure.
