With the rapid development of superconducting technology, superconducting technology has been used in the field of high energy physics, communication, transportation, medical imaging and other fields. High performance superconducting magnets are being used more and more. High performance thermal insulation stabilized superconducting magnets are mainly used in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Superconducting coil technology as the core of the superconducting technology, because of its difficult to assess the value of the application, and the world’s major scientific research organizations to obtain the attention. Aiming at the research and development of superconducting magnet, the quality of superconducting coil winding directly affects the level of the superconducting properties of the superconducting magnet. Therefore, countries around the world pay more and more attention to the development of high performance superconducting coil winding machine.In the research and manufacturing of superconducting magnet system, superconducting coil winding technology level affects the performance of the superconducting magnet. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the mechanical analysis of superconducting magnet in the winding process. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1. Based on the actual process and theoretical derivation, the mechanical analysis of the winding process is carried out. The actual process conditions and related constraints of the coil winding are analyzed by theoretical mechanics knowledge. The corresponding theoretical formula is derived according to the constraint condition of the winding system. By theoretical calculation, the rigid condition of coil stability is obtained. In accordance with the winding principle, the theoretical formula of coil winding is derived. At the same time, the constraint conditions for the winding of the axisymmetric coil are derived.2. The study is used to set the parameters of the non axisymmetric cross section. The requirement of controlling the parameters of roll cross section is proposed. In this paper, the method of adjusting the parameters of the coil section is studied, the parametric equation and its stability conditions for the shape of the symmetric skeleton and the cone shape of the skeleton are introduced.3. On the basis of the structure of the non- symmetric skeleton core model, the external environmental requirements of the stability of the non- pumping symmetrical frame are studied. At the same time, it analyzes the freedom and the relation between the coil section and the cylinder in geometry, which can be improved.4. Based on the working characteristics of the winding machine, the mechanical properties of the winding are analyzed. The basic principle of the winding tension system is analyzed, and the force on the winding tension and the superconducting coil on line is studied. By analyzing three factors that cause the fluctuation of the winding, the theoretical basis is provided for the stability of the superconducting coil. In this study, the mechanical properties of superconducting coil winding are studied, and a theoretical model is proposed to study the mechanical stress of the superconducting coil winding with a straight axis. According to the theoretical model, the effect of the pre tightening force on the radial stress and circumferential stress of the conductor is analyzed, which provides the necessary theoretical basis for the design and application of the superconducting magnet.
