Shear links is a part of beams in traditional Eccentrically Braced Steel Frames,it is not only increase the cost of whole construction,the damaged condition and security after earthquake is hard to assess when signs of earthquake damage is not apparent,but also the repair of shear links is difficulty and expensive.So,put replaceable shear links into Eccentrically Braced Steel Frames is put forward,the replaceable shear links act a part as fuse,it is convenient to repair and economic as well,at the same time, the service life of whole construction is extended.Up to date, the studies about anti-seismic property of traditional Eccentrically Braced Steel Frames and the influence of inelastic deformation characteristics of traditional shear links is a lot at home and abroad, but the studies on Eccentrically Braced Steel Frames with replaceable shear links is little. Then, to prepare for the study of Eccentrically Braced Steel Frames with replaceable shear links,the discussion on the mechanical properties of replaceable shear links under one-way loading and cyclic loading through finite element analysis and experiment is carried out.The research contents are as follows:(1) The stiffener spacing has little influence on bearing capacity when length and sectional dimension of replaceable shear links are same; with the decrease of length of replaceable shear links, the bearing capacity increase when stiffener spacing and sectio nal dimension are same; with the increase of sectional dimension of replaceable shear links, the bearing capacity increase as well when stiffener spacing and length are same.(2) The maximum angle of rotation of replaceable shear links exceed 0.08 rad which can meet the requirement of the specifications, indicate that the deformation of replaceable shear links is well.(3) Under the cyclic loading, the hysteresis curves, the area of the hysteresis loop back and the residual deformation of structure gradually increase, and stiffness fell after the specimen yield. With the increase of load, stable hysteretic curve stable little by little, the energy dissipation effect is well.(4) When the replaceable shear links destroyed, the stress of both ends of flange is biggest and buckled, stress decrease from ends to the middle, and symmetry basically; Most of the web is inelastic, yield area is bigg; the stress and strain of Stiffener are little; the beams at the ends of the replaceable shear links are in elastic range.(5) Contrast the results of experiment and finite element analysis show that stress distribution, the bearing capacity and deformation of both is consistent mostly.
