In the fracturing pump production activities, hydraulic end is the most easily damaged parts of the equipment, this is because the hydraulic end constantly under high and ultra-high voltage high frequency alternating load. Because of structural reasons, the service life of the hydraulic end of wearing parts often only a few hundred hours, use or maintenance cycle is very short, the price hydraulic end is the most expensive component in fracturing equipment, so as far as possible key pieces of the hydraulic end of the ability to work and improve the service life in terms of production activities and economic aspects of crucial. Based on global research on the 6500 HP type fracturing pump hydraulic end of theoretical research and structure design. This thesis mainly completed the following works:Studied the working mechanism of five cylinder plunger pump, plunger movement and pump flow and pressure changes, systemic analyzed the movement rules of valve, provided evidence of the structure design and performance optimization for the pump.Because the traditional straight through type hydraulic end is hard to eliminate the stress concentration and fatigue failure caused by the intersecting line fundamentally. Therefore, the new design for the hydraulic end of 6500 HP fracturing pump used a straight through without intersecting line valve box structure, and designs a new kind of hollow plunger to satisfy the structural requirements. Meanwhile, the pump head, valve and plunger pump sealing structure was designed. According to the performance parameters of piston pump, the use of AutoCAD and UG on the pump head and the main structure was designed and model was established.The hollow plunger intensity analysis was carried out by the finite element analysis software ANSYS to study the stress and strain of the hollow plunger, to improve and optimize the structure.Using FLUENT to analyze the flow field in a new hydraulic end, and with the traditional direct hydraulic end flow field were compared. The results show that the model of the fracturing pump hydraulic end flow field compared with traditional structure has great superiority.
