Elastic-Plastic Analysis Of Short-limbed Shear Wall Structure And Performance Research

Short-limbed shear wall structural system is developed by meeting Chinese specific conditions, there is nothing about advanced foreign experience.It’s a new type of shear wall structural system having a distinct Chinese characteristics, It’s base on Chinese specific socio-economic, science and technology standard. Short-limbed shear wall structural system first comes into being the project practice, result being that a lot of structure engineers are determined to make progresses, have the courage to put into practice.Firstly,The discriminant of short-limbed shear wall structure is showed in this paper,It puts forward a point of view to design short-limbed shear wall structure as combined shear wall.Based on the linear analysis of the short-limbed shear wall structures,It has been concluded that the lateral displacement curve of short-limbed shear wall structure belongs to the flexure-shearing type deformation.Meanwhile,According to the analysis about the position of the contra flexural point in the lateral displacement curve,Some reasonable suggestions are presented.Secondly,Through nolinear finite element analysis of short-limbed shear wall structure by ANSYS, The Damage pattern of short-limbed shear wall structure is summarized.Then, According to change flange widths,axial compression ratio,ratio of span-height of coupling beams and the reinforcement ratios in coupling beams,The influences of these parameters are presented. Some reasonable suggestions on the elastic-plastic performance of short-limbed shear wall structure are summarized. These refer to structural design.Finally,Based on the practical project,this paper shows the difference of the anti-seismic performance between short-limbed shear wall structural system and shear wall structural system, The results show that short-limbed shear wall structural system is possessed of relatively good anti-seismic performance. Some Suggestions about structural arrangement of short-limbed shear wall structural system are presented, These refer to structural design.
