As an embranchment of truck family, the mine dump truck SF33900 whose oil tank can load oil more than three tons mainly runs in diggings where the road surface is very accidented, so its oil tank will be impacted greatly by the sloshing oil in the running course. As we known, in traditional structure design of oil tank, the engineers generally check up the samples’performance or checkout the standard with their experience, in addition they make some partly amendance refer to the reasonable product but leaving the particular stress and strain analysis blank. In this kind of design way, the hidden trouble remainly exists in the structure because of the unknown strength when the oil tank has been molded. Because the samples need to be tested in the traditional design, the cost will increase and the progress of product design also will become numerous. So the traditional design make against the market competition. However, the finite element way is introduced to the dynamic analysis of the oil tank on SF33900 which is the first independent design in China.Six parts are contained in this paper:1) The characteristic and solution of fluid-solid interaction are introduced. Some domestic and international research harvests of fluid-solid interaction are enumerated.2) Base on the fluid dynamic and solid dynamic, the fluid-solid interaction discrete equation is established by the way of discreting the solid differential equation and fluid differential equation.3) The modals of C1 and C2 oil tank with different and free surface of oil are computed by ANSYS. The modal frequencies and the modal shapes are obtained.4) The theory about road roughness is introduced. The spectrum analysis is used to obtain the random libration response of C1 and C2 oil tank caused by road roughness.5) The transient response of C1 and C2 oil tank with different and free surface are analyzed in the software MSC.Dytran when the truck is braked and swerving and climbing;6) According to the demand about vibrational endurance of oil tank refered to GB18296-2001, the harmonic method is used to analyze the up-down, left-right, front-back vibration with the frequence of 30Hz. The fatigue strength is checked.
