On the basis of the radar signal theory, further the system structure of a kind of new radar digital coding waveform generator is proposed. In the scheme the preset counters and PS shift register arrays are employed. By means of the control of the microprocessor, the coded-pulse wave with random combination is exported. There are three parameters of the coding waveform generator that can be changed arbitrarily:the coding width of waveform, the repeated cycle and the number of coding bit.Basing on the design of PCP module,some waveform transform circuit has been studied.By means of the device of high speed amplifier and the method of integral, the coded-pulse wave generated by PCP module can be changed into many kinds of waveforms. The main waves are triangle and sine waveforms.With the development of MicroSystem chip SOC and the technology of EDA (Electronic Design Automation), the PCB design of microprocessor,PCP module and waveform transform circuit can be realized by employing MicroSystem chip SOC. Using the mixed-signal hardware description languages VHDL-AMS or Verilog-AMS, radar random waveform generator can be realized on the MicroSystem chip SOC, which has been demonstrated and discussed in the paper.
