| With China’s rapid economic development and growing electricity demand, more and more isolated phase bus ducts are used for the transmission of electricity. For growing requirements of electricity, how to evaluate and ensure the structural reliability in the seismic response is a very important topic. As well known, the structure is becoming more and more complex to satisfy more and more functional requirements. As a result, some new requirements in safety are put forward for design and analysis of these complex steel structure supports of isolated phase bus ducts. To this end, this dissertation aims at anti-seismic dynamic analysis on a steel structure support of isolated phase bus ducts, and the work mainly includes:1. Static analysis and modal analysis for the complex steel structure support of isolated phase bus ducts have been performed. By static analysis, the displacements, stresses, strains, and forces in structure are determined. Based on these, the modal analysis is carried out to determine the vibration characteristics as well as natural frequencies and vibration mode in three excitation directions.2. Dynamic analysis for the complex steel structure support of isolated phase bus ducts has been performed. The main work is focused on three followed aspects:(1) The response spectrum analysis which is for determining the dynamic response of structure and calculating displacement and stresses for structural design is carried out;(2) The element analysis which is for determining the structural weak parts and checking structural strength and deformation capacity is carried out;(3) The time-history analysis for the complex steel structure support of isolated phase bus ducts which is under normal earthquake has been performed. The higher value of the average value of three time history curves’calculation result and response spectrum’s calculation result is used as the basis for seismic assessment.3. The structure improvement of the complex steel structure support of isolated phase bus ducts has been performed. Through the seismic response analysis of the complex steel structure support of bus ducts, it can be seen that the strength and the stiffness of the structure failed to meet the seismic design requirements. By means of improving local components of the steel structure supports of isolated phase bus ducts including increasing the reinforcing rib on some relevant weak components and the intersection of supports, the strength and the stiffness of the structure succeeded to meet the seismic design requirements which was verified by response spectrum analysis and time history analysis on the steel structure supports of isolated phase bus ducts. |
