| With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, excellent technical and economic short-wave propagation characteristics, shortwave communications technology in national defense, scientific research, production workers and peasants have been widely used, resulting in the radio spectrum resources become tighter, further deterioration of the electromagnetic environment, how to efficiently monitor management shortwave communication is particularly imperative, this article is based on automated monitoring shortwave lateral positioning technology to be addressed as a research focus.Firstly, this paper analyzes the principle and characteristics of the short wave monitoring and direction finding, and analyzes the application of the short wavelength monitoring and direction finding system.Secondly, it mainly explores the realization of automatic monitoring in the short wave monitoring and direction finding system, which is composed of the short wave monitoring and direction finding system, manual and automatic positioning technology and the realization of the short wave monitoring and direction finding system. In the principle of short wave band direction finding algorithm, the problem of the direction of the standard interferometer direction finding is particularly mentioned, and two kinds of solutions are given.
