Since China’s accession to the WTO, economic productivity has been developed rapidly, material also more and more rich, for material management is more and more important, how to reduce cost, improve the work efficiency is materials managers need to solve a practical problem.The rapid development of computer, bring people into the era of the paperless office, computer in material management, to handle all aspects of the data and information, let the computer instead of the supplies management for repetitive multifarious work, can save a lot of resources.There is divided into many kinds of material management system, warehouse material management system, school supplies, management system, etc., each material management system management by object, scope and management is different, this system is for guiyang city science and technology school supplies for the registration and query statistics and so on practical characteristics such as the development of a material management system.In this paper, based on the actual needs of guiyang city school of science and technology, analyzes the function of material management system, and for each module boundaries, respectively, with emphasis on the in-out warehouse management and query, describes the structure of the whole system design and main technical points in the process of implementation, by each function module implements supplies for the management and query management, and other functions.Was introduced in this paper is divided into six parts, the "top-down" overall planning, bottom-up application development "strategy to develop the detailed process of this system, material management system research content involves the material inventory management process, including inbound, outbound, warehouse statistics, etc., from the perspective of software engineering to carry on the scientific and rigorous.
