Research On The Development Of Aircraft Leasing Industry In China

Just like bank credit, stock, bond and trust, finance leasing is also one main method of financing, and since its emerge it has been playing quite an important role in the converging of industrial capital and the development of the real economy, especially in western developed countries. While in China, due to some historical reasons, the government had ever imposed restrictions on the development of finance leasing which led to a quite low leasing permeability, even lower than some developing countries that share the same level of economic development with China.As an important branch of finance leasing, air leasing has played an important role in the development of air industry for its key functions in connecting airline companies、air manufactures and air leasing companies. Since the importance of developing the civil aviation was advanced to a strategic level by the state council. Chinese government began to promote steadily a series of favorable polices including laws, tax policies, customs inspection and foreign debts quota restrictions. However, young as we are in the development of air leasing, we still have a lot to do in complete the economic reforms and still have a long way to go to catch up with some developed countries.Through analyzing the development status of the air leasing industry in our country and combined with researching theories in the most authority-leasing development cycle and four supports theory, the article pointed out that we are sill in the stage of innovative leasing, and have a far way to go in the construction of financing environment,tax system, law system, development of the enterprise and human resources support. Then based upon the successful experience of developed countries,the article managed to come out with some practical measures to improve these conditions.
