Study On The Development Of Leasing Trade And Problems In China

In recent years, with the guidance of the government, financial leasing industry in China has developed rapidly, and the market volume of financial leasing is in the front ranks of the world. However, the industry is still at exploring stage, and there is a gap between China and the countries with developed financial leasing market. Aiming to promote the development of Chinese leasing trade, this paper analyzes the development, and offers countermeasures and suggestions by drawing experiences from abroad.Base on two theories:leasing development cycle theory and four pillars of doctrine, this paper analyzes data on Chinese leasing trade, import & export of electromechanical products and trade on goods by statistical analysis and comparative analysis. Then this paper studies the structure of leasing trade and Chinese leasing trade’s effect on import and export of goods. This paper argues that product structure of Chinese leasing trade is simple and Chinese leasing trade’s promoting effect on import and export of goods is small. This paper summarizes and comparatively analyzes the supervision system and the tax system of financial leasing between China and USA & Korea, and argues that the system construction should be synchronized with the development, but Chinese supervision system of financial leasing is not like that and it restricts the financing of the lessor. This paper analyzes business volume and leasing penetration between China and USA & Korea, then discusses the contribution of financial leasing to economy, and argues that there is a gap between China and developed financial leasing markets and the potential market is big in China. The study on financial leasing business development of USA & Korea provides support to the following countermeasures and suggestions.This paper argues that there are some problems on system construction, financing of leasing corporation, leasing trade and leasing penetration. And corresponding to these problems, learning from USA and Korea, countermeasures and suggestions on macro level and micro level are proposed.
