With the continuous development of market economy, the commercial pattern has been refined. How to occupy a position in the same industry is a serious problem for every company.Company VIS, VI is Visual Identity, which is the most communicational and influential part of CIS. VIS transforms the non-visual content of CIS into static visual identity symbol. It is transmitted directly by variety forms in the most extensive field. VIS with reasonable design and scientific implement is a fast and convenient method to transmit business philosophy and build brand awareness for a company.In this paper we are talking about the VIS in the clothing industry. Since China joined the WTO, international famous brands entered into Chinese market massively. This brings huge challenge for domestic brands. How to compete with international famous brands in maximum for market share has become a serious problem for domestic brands to be considered. Clothing brand VIS is the efficient method and strategy to resolve this difficult problem. From the view of a designer, the brand design of "SIQI Family" is an example to research the relationship between domestic clothing brands development and VIS, market position strategy, design practice and promotion plan. From this special design plan case, we can summarize the effective way and specific method to build domestic clothing brand through VI design.
