An Empirical Study On The Data Quality Of China 's GDP

With the development of information and technology, and the appearance of new technology such as Mobile Internet、Cloud Computing and Big Data, the requirement of information and data becomes more convenient, at the same time higher quality of the information and data is essential, the dependence of data has improved significantly. As a major source of official information and data, the quality of government statistical data plays an important role in people’s daily decision. However, look back our statistic data,discussion and questioning about the quality of statistical data is more common, especially regards of data accuracy and coordination. As the value metrics of final goods and services produced by a country or region during a given period, GDP can well reflect the economic development of the country or region. The focus on statistical data and index especially GDP has increasingly improved. Of which, most part is about China’s GDP data, mainly about the differences between National GDP data and the sum of local provinces’ data, also between the GDP data and other relevant economic indexes.According to results of the study list quality problems of China GDP data, analyze and discuss the data that has quality problem, then give feasibility comments and suggestions about how to improve and enhance the quality of statistical data from the perspective of the government and society respectively.
