Research On Profitability Of Listed Companies In Shaanxi Province

The scale and structure of capital market is an important sign to measure the level of economic development of a country or region. With the development of the Chinese capital market growth and the economy of Shaanxi province is booming. listed company in Shaanxi province has become the backbone of our province to promote economic growth. However, the overall performance of our province capital market is not just as wishes, profit ability compared with the national average level is still gaps. Based on this background, this paper takes Shaanxi Province as the research object to the listed company, the financial data of 2009-2013 as a sample, profitability factors and their influence on our province listed company.Firstly, This paper, based on domestic and foreign relevant theories and research results as the foundation, analyzes five aspects such as industry distribution, regional distribution, capital structure, and profitability of the listed company in Shaanxi province and points out that the listed company development problems, and summarize the factors affecting its profit ability. Secondly, using the factor analysis method to make our province listed company profitability scores and make the ranking of the past five years, through the change of rank analysis of the overall changes of the enterprise industry plate. Then, we establish the panel data to analyze the factors which affect the profitability of the listed company. The results show that the operating cash flow ratio, current asset turnover are positively correlated to the profit ability. Equity multiplier, cost of sales rate and corporate profitability are negatively related to profit ability. While the profitability of the enterprise and the top ten shareholder shareholding ratio did not show significant relationship. At last, we give some relevant policy recommendations in order to enhance the Shaanxi province listed company profitability.
