Research On Community Financial Service Of Chinese Commercial Banks

Community Financial Services is relying on community banks, provide financial services to residents and company. Community financial services which come from the United States is already has a mature service system in the United States and become an important part of its banking services, and play a critical role for the development of economy, withstanding the financial crisis and other issues for the United States.With the development of China’s market economy and network technology, the residents’ way of consuming financial products has a huge change, and has higher requirement about financial services:the diverse needs, different and autonomy channels, multifunctional equipment have become the new trend in the current financial service innovation. In this market environment, along with community economic development, community-bank financial services community began to develop, and provide more convenient, more comprehensive and personalized financial services for residence.Minsheng Bank is the forerunner who built a large class of community banks everywhere in the country, and other banks have started preparations of the community banks. Consider of the risk control, in the end of 2013, the CBRC prohibited the expansion without approve,and provide clearly the scale, form, aspects of the services about community banks. Then, in June 2014,CBRC began issuing licenses to community banks, which marked the community financial services develop toward legalization and standardization.This paper analysis Chinese banks’ personal business,and discuss the necessity of community financial services.Then the paper introduce several unique community financial service products and according to the experience of the United States give some advices about our community financial services’ problems. For example,the government should introduce legal policies and enforce the law strictly, the community financial services should have definitely service object, in order to avoid being unworthy of the name or title.
