Research On The Improvement Of Standard Auditing Report In China

Auditor audit report is the way on which auditor shows the audit progress and results to the audit client or the investors who make the proper evaluation and decisions based on the report, and objectively reflects the financial position and operating results of the audited entity, which plays an important role in economic activity. In order to meet the changing needs of users, and facing the increasingly complex economic environment, the audit report needs to be perfect to enhance the value of the report.In recent years, as the financial crisis and other serious economic disasters, users have been no long satisfied with the current system of audit report. The calls for improving auditor report increased quickly, especially for the standard auditor report which is highly uniformed in the format and content. In 2011, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board issued a report entitled "enhance the value of the auditor report: Exploring ways to change", proposing the improvement program of auditor report. In January 2015, the new and revised auditor reporting standard was released to the public finally.As an important member in the global economic system, the improvement of the standard auditor report should also be rightly concern. As China’s auditing standards continue to achieve convergence with international, I believe that it is an appropriate time to take the initiative to explore and study the standard of auditor report according to the actual situation in China. Among the literatures in China’s academia, most are the macro-level directions. On this basis, I will explore the needs of the public to the auditor report under the current standard to meet the situation in the form of actual investigation and propose ideas to improve specific programs.
