A Study On The Differences Of Farmers 'Production Behaviors In Poverty - Stricken Areas Under The Background Of Farmers' Differentiation

All along, farmers issues are the common concerns of national governments and the community. Farmers always living in the lower level of the community, the environment is underdevelopment, information and transportation are blocked. Farmers differentiation is an obvious manifestation of the rural change, the question of Farmers differentiation beginning to emerge after proposed the building of new rural initiatives and the Benefiting Policy. Agricultural production is seasonality, the development of agricultural modernization, Industrialization and urbanization process are accelerated, and market-oriented reform of the social economy, that’s all the factors of the Farmers differentiation. Differentiation of the farmers brought differentiation households. Households choose to engage in agriculture or non-agriculture, Largely by the degree of economic development and prosperity migrant environment, Also restricted by the land reform system and the household registration system. And differentiation of farmers in different regions are also have many differents. Therefore, Farmers differentiation also have the instability, lack of thoroughness and imbalance. Now, academia studied lots of Farmers differentiation, but, they have different emphasis, such as agricultural transition, the transfer of labor, farmland transfer, and so on, but have not research on the production behavior of different types of households that after the differentiation.Against this background, study by the situation 975 poor households through the field research, divided into four types according to the situation of the proportion of agricultural income : agricultural households, agriculture and industry households, non-agricultural and industry households, and non-agricultural households. Analysis these households’ production behavior, analysis the factors that affect the total agricultural income by building the Cobb-Douglas production function, obtain behavioral differences between different types of households,proposed the targeted countermeasures of eliminate poverty on this basis, In order to optimize the productionbehavior of households, enhance the poverty alleviation efficiency, then, reach the "win-win" purposes that the poor farmers escape poverty and promote development in poor areas.
